Intern Spotlight: Deja Vieau

My name is Deja Vieau and I am an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin. I am going into my senior year at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and I am majoring in neurobiology. This summer I am an intern at the Oneida Community Health Center in Oneida, Wisconsin. I am working in the Comprehensive Health Division within the Purchased Referred Care Department. This internship is a great opportunity for me to learn more about health care and the behind the scenes picture of how a clinic operates. I have always dreamed of working in the medical field, and this internship is the first step towards my future career path. I am so thankful for the opportunity to further my experience in a professional setting and for this program.
