Ha-weh (Hello)! My name is Gavin Kendrick and I am from Fairfax, Oklahoma, a small town on the Osage Reservation. I am Osage and Winnebago. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a dual degree. I received a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Science for Political Science. I am currently pursuing my masters at the University of Oklahoma for Educational Administration Supervision and Curriculum. I currently work for my tribe in the Child Care Department, as well as serving part-time at The Pioneer Woman’s P-Town pizza. I worked for my tribe during the summer for several years, aspart of the Osage Nation Summer Youth Employment program, which helped me receive the position I am in today. I have also worked for the Osage Nation Foundation as an on-site coordinator for the foundation’s summer camps for kids, including basketball, golf, and photography camp.
