Intern Spotlight: Jamel Ness

Jamel Ness is an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin. He will be graduating this fall with a bachelors degree in Communications as well as an associate’s degree in Design and Graphic Technology. Through studying in Osaka and Tokyo, which are cities in Japan; he’s made many international connections and plans on moving abroad after graduating. He’s fascinated with learning about foreign cultures and how they all interact with each other in our modern world.

Over the course of his education, he has done many internships through the Oneida Nation which include interning for the Oneida Business Committee, Tourism, Newspaper (Kalihwisaks), Higher Education and currently Human Resources. These internships acted as a way to build up a versatile work history while also gaining many skills.

Jamel has many interests and hobbies such as working as a professional DJ since the age of 13, shooting/editing photographs, traveling and trying international foods.
