Intern Spotlight: Tilyss Whirlwind Soldier

Yá’át’ééh, My name is Tilyss Whirlwind Soldier. I am Áshįįhí born for the Lakota Sioux. I am an enrolled member at Rosebud Sioux Tribe. I am an incoming freshman at the University of Arizona; I am an East Asian Major and I hope to become an Anthropologist. I want to travel the world and study different cultures around the globe. I was in the National Honor Society, and I am a part of the National Society of High School Scholars. I love to get involved with school and my community. I love to be a role model for my classmates and motivate them to do better and go further. Prior to the UOA I am studying at the Indian University of North America, and I am so thankful to have this opportunity!
