Intern Spotlight - Daniel Hayden
Hello! My name is Daniel Hayden.
I am interning this summer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the department of Plant Pathology. I will be conducting a community-based participatory research project with the Oneida Nation. Specifically, looking at how soil microbes are affected by different agricultural methods when cultivating Oneida White Corn.
I am a member of the Comanche Nation and I am also Muscogee Creek, Alabama-Qussarte, and Pawnee.
I recently graduated with a B.S. in Plant Biology at the University of Oklahoma. I will continue my summer project at UW-Madison into my PhD thesis the fall of 2019.
